This is something I really needed to do. I recently read this article and became really upset: [link]
I'll be the first to admit it: I watch anime for free online. I've watched the whole Fruits Basket series, Vampire Knight, etc.
I know you have as well. THIS IS SO WRONG! We have to stop all this illegal distribution before we completely destroy the Anime industry! PLEASE next time you want to watch something, buy or rent it, don't just illegally watch it online. Doing this could really ruin people's lives and you'll never be able to watch again.
This wasn't mentioned in the article, but it goes for manga as well. I love manga and NEVER read it online (probably because I like to HAVE book :3), but I see SO many websites with scanned volumes that you can read for free. PLEASE STOP! Manga aren't THAT expensive and in the long run it's way more worth it to buy them.
So next time you're gonna google episode 14 of your favorite show, think about how you'll never get another like it if you don't stop.

Well, I read Naruto manga scanlations online, because I feel like the English manga was too American-ized. However, because I read it for free, I buy the manga when I get the chance.
